List Time Tracker guide

Table of contents

List Time Tracker power-up helps you understand how long cards stay in each list on your Trello board. It automatically records time as cards move, giving you instant insights to identify bottlenecks and optimize your workflow. You don't need to start or stop any timers - all tracking is done automatically in the background.

Getting started

To start tracking time on your board, complete three quick steps listed below. If you're an experienced power-up user, you can skip reading this section.

Enable power-up

First, you'll need to enable List Time Tracker on your Trello board. To do so, click Power-Ups (the rocket icon) in the board header, then Add Power-Ups. Search for "List Time Tracker", and click Add. See Enabling power-ups if you have trouble with this step.

Authorize power-up

Next step is to authorize the power-up so it has access to your board data. Click List Time Tracker button (the hourglass icon) in the board header, then click Authorize. Review the requested permissions and click Allow.

Start subscription

This power-up requires a paid subscription. Click List Time Tracker button, and then Subscribe. You will be taken to your Stripe customer portal where you can safely process the payment. After that, you will be redirected back to your board. See Managing subscriptions if you want to learn more, including how to cancel your subscription.
